The Signal Conditioning Modules (SCMs) are mounted in a Module Termination Unit (MTU) with 16 SCM slots. Select I/O provides a comprehensive solution for simplified engineering, installation, commissioning and late changes with features such as built-in disconnect function, field loop current limitation and replaceable terminal blocks. SCMs are available for both non-SIL and SIL3 applications. The Select I/O is designed to provide a compact and rugged solution e.g. supporting operating temperature of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius, hazardous locations and corrosive gases. The I/O system can be mounted in Zone 2 environment.
